Overview
Rescue Me! is an Android emergency assistance application designed to provide quick access to essential emergency services. The application allows users to contact services such as the fire brigade, ambulance and police through dedicated one-tap actions while using GPS to access the user's current location.
The problem
During an emergency, users may need to contact the appropriate emergency service quickly while also communicating their location. Navigating through different applications or manually determining location can add unnecessary friction during a critical situation.
What I built
Built an Android emergency assistance application with dedicated one-tap actions for contacting the fire brigade, ambulance and police. Integrated GPS location access to determine the user's current location and support location-aware emergency assistance.
