Overview

Bhagavad Gita Summary is a multilingual Android reading application built with Jetpack Compose to make the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita easier to explore. The application provides content in Hindi, Gujarati and English and includes text-to-speech functionality, allowing users to listen to the available content in addition to reading it.

The problem

Users may prefer to explore spiritual and educational content in their native language or through audio rather than reading exclusively in a single language. The application needed to provide a simple way to access the Bhagavad Gita in multiple languages and support audio-based consumption.

What I built

Built a Jetpack Compose Android application that presents Bhagavad Gita summary content in Hindi, Gujarati and English. Integrated text-to-speech functionality so users can listen to the content, creating both reading and audio-based consumption experiences.

Created an accessible multilingual reading experience for Bhagavad Gita content, combining three-language support with text-to-speech for users who prefer listening over reading.
