Overview
Laffinity (Laugh + Infinity) is an entertainment-focused Android application built around discovering funny videos, memes and quotes. The application uses a modern Jetpack Compose UI with Material 3 and an MVVM architecture, while Retrofit handles content retrieval and Glide supports efficient media loading.
The problem
Users consume entertainment content across different formats, often requiring separate experiences for videos, memes and quotes. The goal was to provide a unified mobile experience for discovering different types of lightweight entertainment content.
What I built
Built a unified Android application for videos, memes and quotes using Jetpack Compose and Material 3. Applied MVVM for application structure, Retrofit for retrieving content, and Glide for efficient image/media loading. Integrated post-notification support to keep users informed about new content.
Created a modern, content-driven entertainment experience that combines videos, memes and quotes in a single Android application with a responsive Compose-based interface.
